Julia Akatsu Stoyanov Pianist, Composer Born in Fukushima, Japan, as the daughter of Boyko Stoyanov (conductor, composer) and Rikako Akatsu Stoyanov (pianist). Started to learn to play the piano at the age of three. At the age of twelve, was invited to perform at the Chopin’s house in Poland. In 2005, graduated Federal University of Bahia in Brazil with top marks. Awarded at various piano competitions such as the Young Soloist and The Best Interpreter of Brazilian Music. Received “Outstanding Artistic Achievement” in U.S.A. Gave concerts in Europe, America, Brazil and Japan. |
